Job summary

Norfolk Iron and Metal is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment and production lines in Garland, TX. You will follow blueprints and schematics, diagnose issues, perform PMs, and ensure safe operation. The role offers a monthly bonus, PTO from start, premium healthcare, and a 401(k) match.

• At least 6 months experience working on production and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform scheduled maintenance on machines, forklifts, cranes and more.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment and machinery.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings during maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Track issues and PMs.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
