Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Cherokee, IA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and adjustments on production line equipment including conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales. You will maintain motors and gearboxes and handle general building maintenance.

Required: 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance; PLC experience preferred. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLC highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• PM, repair and adjust production line equipment (conveyors, case erectors, sealers, scales).
• Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
• General building maintenance including light electrical.
• Occasional repairs on material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with production leaders to improve equipment efficiency.
