Maintenance Technician 2
Location: Richmond, VA/ Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 4:00AM to 2:30PM / $27.38 Hourly with Excellent Benefits

Maintenance Technician 2 Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance activities. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventative maintenance procedures and tasks on equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Operational Support: Work with other departments to ensure overall equipment effectiveness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance technicians and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance activities, share knowledge, and provide technical support when needed.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and ensure the effective transfer of knowledge within the team.
- Other duties as assigned
Maintenance Technician 2 Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Additional technical certifications preferred)
- Has minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting or equivalent.
- Has strong mechanical aptitude.
- Has a strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles.
- Has a basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
- Understands basic hand tool functions.
- Has a great team focused attitude.
- Is excited to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Is physically able to perform the duties of the job.
- Is able to operate support equipment (i.e. Forklifts, Scissor Lifts)
- Has strong communication skills.
- Is willing to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays.
