Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee planned and unplanned facility and equipment maintenance across production lines, utilities, MHE, and fleet where applicable. The role requires leadership of multi-shift teams, implementing preventive, predictive, and urgent repair strategies to improve reliability, safety, and compliance with NFPA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Seven+ years leading a maintenance organization in manufacturing.
Ten+ years maintenance experience across equipment and facilities.
Experience with TPM and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
Experience with spare parts inventory management.

Responsibilities

Lead safety in the department and adherence to all work safety policies and regulations.
Oversee maintenance, repair and reliability of production equipment, utilities, MHE, facility/grounds and fleet where applicable.
Provide leadership and coaching to maintenance and operations staff to develop talent and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage staffing for two shifts, weekends, overtime, on-call, and emergency responses.
Conduct employee performance reviews and coaching to improve performance and retention.
Use KPIs to drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis for uptime.
Lead capital projects from proposal to commissioning, ensure budgets and timelines are met.
