Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in El Paso, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair production equipment, and document all activities. The role requires strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

You will work with the Engineering team on projects to improve productivity, while following Toro and OSHA safety rules and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2–5 years in manufacturing/extrusion.
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with personal computers and good follow-up skills.
• Strong experience in preventive maintenance repairs and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on equipment and record results.
• Inspect equipment and read work orders to determine maintenance needs.
• Repair and replace defective parts; troubleshoot root causes of malfunctions.
• Provide emergency repairs during production hours, including nights/weekends.
• Coordinate with Engineering on productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Toro and OSHA safety rules.
