Job summary

The Toro Company’s American Augers division in West Salem, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician. You will perform upgrades, repairs and installations across the facility, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems with CMMS guidance.

Two shifts are available; starting pay varies by skills/experience (Technician I $25-27/hr, Technician II $27-30/hr). A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and electrical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or a journeyman certification.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Experience with Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Programming software for PLCs and robots preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform upgrades, repairs and installations throughout the facility.
• Diagnose problems involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Repair, rebuild and set hydraulic valves, pumps and cylinders.
• Use precision measurement tools while setting up equipment and diagnosing problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical systems including high and low voltage circuits.
• Snow removal during winter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
