Job summary
The Toro Company in El Paso, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment. You will inspect, troubleshoot and service electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, reading manuals and work orders to keep equipment in top condition.
Daily duties include emergency repairs during production hours and coordination with Engineering for efficiency improvements. Overtime and off-shift work may be required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–5 years related experience in manufacturing/extrusion.
- Strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Effective oral and written communication and good PC literacy.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and record keeping.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and keep accurate records.
- Inspect equipment, report discrepancies, and maintain tools and parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production hours, including nights and weekends.
- Collaborate with Engineering on projects to improve productivity and efficiency.
