Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Leefort Terrace in Salem, MA. The role covers electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and carpentry with a 1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Reports to Maintenance Supervisor and requires live within 30 minutes of the property.

Compensation ranges from $27.25 to $29.00 per hour with benefits including health, life insurance, paid holidays, and a 401k plan. Eligible for on-call and regional support across properties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Performs turnover work to ensure make-ready status is achieved in a timely manner.
• Carpentry and repair tasks including wallboard, countertops/cabinet replacement, window/glass, door/lock repairs.
• Drywall patching, painting, and cleaning of common areas.
• Monitors and organizes inventory; delivers supplies as needed.
• Emergency on-call maintenance as required.
• Assists at other properties in the region.
