Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Boston to perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and appliances. The role requires at least 3–5 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

You will handle turnover work, repairs, inventory, supply runs, and after hours on-call service, with occasional travel to nearby properties. A valid driver’s license and basic English are required; trade school or CAMT certification

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
Trade school or college degree preferred.
CAMT certification and Greenlight plan desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and HVAC.
Handle clean out and demo for turnover to achieve make-ready status quickly.
Do drywall patching, painting, and tile work; repair fixtures as needed.
Monitor and organize inventory; manage supplies and deliveries.
Provide after-hours on-call maintenance support as required.
Assist at other properties in the region as needed.
