TimberTech is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for night shift at Corey St on-site. You will maintain production lines and other equipment, assist in prioritizing work orders, and support TPM and 6S initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 0+ years as Maintenance Tech I.
• Two year Maintenance Certification course completed.
• Welding and welding certification a plus.
• Forklift experience with TT Forklift Certification.
• PLC logic knowledge is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times.
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
• Supports 6S workplace organization and TPM production efficiency programs.
• Assists operators in daily preventive maintenance checks (CIL).
• Supports preventative maintenance process on the shift.
• Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance events.
• Participates in other plant projects as needed.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervision/management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
• Experience: 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
• Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Certifications & Licenses: Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
• Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course
• Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
• Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
• Other Requirements: Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems; Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment; Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus; Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus; Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally; Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities; Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences; Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
