Job summary

AZEK Company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Ohio to cover a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role focuses on keeping production lines and equipment running at all times, supporting 6S/TPM initiatives, and performing preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

The position offers hourly pay starting at $27.00 for Tech II and $30.50 for Tech III, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Advanced education/certifications a plus.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• PLC logic knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production lines and equipment to stay operational.
• Develops and prioritizes work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production supervision and line leads.
• Completes work orders as defined by maintenance and supervision.
• Supports 6S and TPM programs for productivity.
• Assists, coaches and trains operators in daily preventive maintenance checks.
• Participates in line commissioning after maintenance events.
• Supports plant projects as needed.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervision.

Hourly Rate: $27.00 for Tech II starting pay!

$30.50 for Tech III starting pay!

Note* Pay Rate is based on experience level.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
• Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
• Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
• Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
• Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
• Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
• Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management

Qualifications:

• Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor
  Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
• Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
• Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and
  proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of
  audiences
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7
  manufacturing environment

Education Requirements:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
• Certifications & Licenses:
  • Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training
  • Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
  • Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course
  • Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
  • Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
