Job summary

JES Holdings in Macon, MO, seeks a Maintenance Technician II for Halls of Brookfield & Weatherby to maintain 250+ apartment communities. You will complete work orders, perform make-readies, and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and cosmetic repairs with attention to safety and quality.

Full-time, 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call and overtime opportunities. You’ll train on HUD/LIHTC standards and collaborate with residents, vendors, and staff to uphold property standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Complete daily resident work orders and respond to on-call requests.
• Assist neighboring properties and travel for regional/corporate training as needed.
