Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II to respond to service requests, repair and maintain apartments, and prep units for new residents.

The role requires a broad set of building trades skills and a strong customer service mindset, with a five-day in-office schedule. You will perform repairs across appliance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, coordinate with management for on-call duties, and ensure safety standards are followed while maintaining outdoor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years hands-on repair in two+ building trades.
• REAC/HQS experience preferred; trade certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair appliances, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC as needed.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies promptly.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins and maintain grounds.
• Assist in safety practices and PPE usage.
• Provide guidance to junior techs as needed.
