Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) in Albany, OR to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment and ensure high equipment availability. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, use preventive maintenance processes, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues quickly.

The role involves operating and supporting robotics, conveyors, and AS/RS and requires the ability to work safely and follow procedures across shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and PLCs is desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems including PLCs and robotics.
• Use mobile apps to create/close Work Orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to perform root cause analyses.
