Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for our Oak Grove, Louisiana facility. The role covers installation, operation, maintenance and repair of multiple building systems, with focus on safety and reliability.

You will monitor equipment, perform preventative tasks and support improvements on the shop floor. We offer competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits starting day 1, PTO, 401k and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly.
• Close exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related systems.
• Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to ensure optimal production.
• Follow safety rules for hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Assist in building repairs and provide on-job directions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the area.
