Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform installation, repair and modification of equipment for manufacturing operations. You will work with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, install and repair electrical equipment, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of five years related work experience in maintenance mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Installs, modifies and maintains plant machinery and equipment.
• Repairs electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, motors and related components.
• Follows safety rules and uses hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provides on-the-job direction to junior maintenance staff and assists in training.
