Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician Level II (Make Ready) to maintain the physical condition and appearance of the community. You will identify problems, complete service requests, and perform repairs to keep units and amenities in top condition.

Responsibilities include inspecting vacated apartments, completing renovations, and returning units to make-ready status while ensuring safety compliance and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English and follow work instructions and trainings.
• Ability to take measurements and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic computer skills for standard software used in property management.
• Frequent operation of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Safe handling of chemicals, paint and cleaning supplies.
• Frequent operation motorized vehicles (car, truck, van, golf cart).

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties, preventative maintenance, and repairs to standards.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect units for quality.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status.
• Respond to repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, etc.).
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance needs.
• Respond to resident requests with timely, courteous service.
• Promote safe work practices on-site team.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing regulations.
• Address other duties as assigned.
