Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician Level II (Make Ready) to maintain the community's physical condition and appearance. You will identify problems, complete requests, and perform repairs to keep units market-ready and presentable for residents.

You will inspect, renovate, and re-inspect vacated apartments, handle HVAC/electrical/plumbing tasks, and ensure safety standards while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English well for work instructions and reports.
• Measure accurately and perform basic arithmetic in tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Operate maintenance tools and basic equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety practices when using chemicals and paints.
• Drive or operate vehicles as part of site duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties and repairs per standards.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations and re-inspect units.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status.
• Respond to problems with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety and project needs.
• Respond to resident requests with timely, high-quality service.
• Promote safe work practices among on-site team.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, including Fair Housing.
• Address and complete other duties as assigned.
