Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production machinery and automated systems running safely and efficiently. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, providing support to operators, documenting maintenance activities, following safety standards, and travel to nearby locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Technical degree in engineering or industrial maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated/electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
• Provide equipment maintenance, interventions, and repairs; support operators and machine reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment set up and production changeovers; respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; follow safety and quality protocols.

Education

3 - 5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance

2-yr Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance
