Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production equipment running at peak performance. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Perform preventive maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement across the facility. The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Must be able to demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated/electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
• Provide operators with support around machine overall equipment reliability and assist in changeovers as needed.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and maintain clear records and reports.
