Job summary

Perdue Farms is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to keep production machinery and automated systems in peak condition. You will troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild equipment while performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and hands-on expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical work, welding and rigging. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with day travel to nearby locations as needed.

Qualifications

3–5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance and repair of mechanical/electrical equipment.
Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical systems, welding and rigging.
Commitment to continuous learning and achieving maintenance proficiency.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and electrical systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Provide technical direction to junior maintenance staff as needed.
Support machine changeovers and equipment set-up.
Maintain clear work records and safety/quality compliance.
