Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure reliability and efficiency of advanced production systems. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work independently on challenging mechanical and electrical issues while collaborating with engineers to optimize performance. The role offers a fast-paced environment with growth potential, and requires handling

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical production equipment.
Intermediate experience with hand/power tools and basic maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspections).
Familiarity with electronics (photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/Os, servo drives, VFDs).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and high-tech equipment.
Respond to operational calls for troubleshooting and diagnosis of assembly systems.
Operate and repair electrical and mechanical assemblies (forklifts, conveyors, robotics).
Follow safety standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
