Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to manage maintenance requests, diagnose problems, and perform repairs to keep our community in top condition.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety compliance; participate in on-call rotation; interact with residents to provide excellent service. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate an on‑call schedule in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members to provide customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies, SDS, and proper chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs per company standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner; performs turnkey work as required.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Adheres to safety policies and uses PPE correctly.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) within company standards.
