Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Redmond, WA, to maintain and repair apartment homes and ensure high-quality living experiences. The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, with a focus on timely service delivery and safety.

The Maintenance Technician will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and work with residents and teams to uphold Vivi mark's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC repair, electrical and plumbing work.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work on-call rotating shifts.
• Strong customer service and communication with residents and team members.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures (e.g., SDS).
• Knowledge of PPE and safe chemical handling.
• Understanding of PPE usage and safety practices.
• Knowledge of emergency systems, shutoffs, and operation sequences.
• Familiarity with painting tools and paint types.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner according to standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs preventative maintenance on apartments.
• Assists with interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains a safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
