Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Wilmington, NC to handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. The role requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs.

Residential property experience and a valid driver’s license are required, with additional certifications (CPO a plus) encouraged as part of our Live It culture and commitment to growth.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA/HVAC Certification.
• CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for next move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Maintain building and common areas daily.
• Promote professional relations with residents, coworkers, and staff.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
