Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners in Durham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our on-site team. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure clean, well-maintained communities while coordinating with residents and staff.

Requirements include a High School or GED, two years in apartment maintenance, and EPA/HVAC certification, plus a valid driver's license. CPO certification is a plus. On-call rotation and a Monday–Friday schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification is required.
• EPA/HVAC certification is required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status per company standards.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company guidelines.
• Maintain building and common areas daily; keep grounds neat and free of litter.
