Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to handle work orders independently and support preventative maintenance across our communities. HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs are required for this role.

The position emphasizes maintenance of apartments and common areas, with on-call responsibilities and a path for career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA/HVAC Certification.
• CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for next move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Maintain building and common area upkeep daily.
• Keep shop and supply inventory organized for quick access.
• Promote good relations with residents, co-workers, and staff; uphold professional Live It culture.
• Participate in on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company standards.
• Complete special projects as needed.
