Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep hotel property in top condition and guest-ready.

You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, English communication, and the ability to work with the team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Maintenance knowledge across building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
• Ability to dismantle or repair equipment and restore function
• English written and spoken communication required
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs is valued
• Pool maintenance knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and smooth-running hotel property and grounds
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on systems (plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC)
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and drywall work
• Document records and reports on maintenance activities
• Provide ongoing training to team members
• Assist with recruiting for department needs and guest-focused service
