Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician II to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks across our community. You’ll diagnose issues, complete requests to Hawthorne standards, and support on-call rotations with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification, and at least two years of apartment maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC Certification; CPO Certification is a plus; Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Maintain building and common area upkeep daily.
• Promote good relations with residents, co-workers, and staff and participate in on-call emergency rotation.
