Job summary

Tofurky is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to join our Maintenance team at the Hood River, Oregon facility. This full-time onsite role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.

You will work on automated processing and packaging equipment, support electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime while

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance in manufacturing.
• GMP/HACCP knowledge or food industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting with meters and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and identify faults.
• Install and replace motors, VFDs, relays, sensors, and control devices.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production lines.
• Assist with startups, changeovers, and commissioning.
• Maintain maintenance records and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout and GMP/HACCP practices.
