Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a maintenance technician to keep a food production line running smoothly in our Watertown facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, install and debug equipment, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and electrical schematics to minimize downtime.

Collaborating with Production, you will address quality and safety concerns and record work orders and time cards. Prioritize OSHA safety and GMP compliance while supporting forklift service and plant equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and training.
• 1–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs with troubleshooting focus.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and safety (OSHA).
• Familiarity with GMP and food manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain large-scale mixers, blenders, belt ovens, and conveyors on the production line.
• Support warehouse forklift service and repair.
• Execute preventive maintenance across production machinery.
• Install, debug, and stabilize plant equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with Production to address quality and safety issues.
• Record work orders and time cards; report equipment concerns to Maintenance Manager.
• Take part in overtime as required.
