Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in Blue Springs, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Tech I with starting wage of $23–$25 hourly. You will maintain the property, perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC, and carry out light carpentry and painting.

You will implement safety programs, keep records, train staff, and help recruit for the department while contributing to a top guest experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair components.
• Knowledge of water chemistry for pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing.
• English language proficiency and clear direction following.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety programs in compliance with regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience with courteous service.
