Job summary

Vivmark Residential, formed through the AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential merger, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Denver, CO. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance to keep our apartment communities in top condition.

You will handle preventative maintenance, assist with interior and exterior painting, safety initiatives, and ensure turnover readiness of vacant units.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and communicate effectively with residents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in line with company standards and timeliness.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner and performs preventative maintenance.
• Supports in painting interior and exterior surfaces and maintains safety culture.
