Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

The MT1 role requires reading blueprints, electrical work, PLCs, and multi-craft maintenance; successful candidates will handle wiring diagrams and meet safety standards, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including PLCs.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and other facilities tasks.
