Job summary
Opti Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Clackamas, OR. The role involves hands-on maintenance of production equipment, troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and reading schematics to minimize downtime.
We offer growth opportunities, a day shift of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with swing/night shifts available, and ongoing training in PLCs and food-safety procedures to support professional development.
Qualifications
- Hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Comfort with PLCs and equipment‑specific electrical/mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Dependable, safety‑minded, and team oriented.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment in the assigned area.
- Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and install/preventative maintenance.
- Document maintenance and repairs and minimize downtime.
- Support HACCP/SSOPs/GMPs and other food-safety procedures; participate in PLC training.
