Job summary

Legends Global is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aquatic and facility systems across four water parks. You will perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance and provide training to junior staff.

You must hold a CPO or AFO certification and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays while maintaining detailed records and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and related maintenance experience.
• Read measurements and perform math for chemical dosing.
• Current CPO or AFO certification is required.
• Advanced knowledge in pumps, hydraulics, drainage, filtration, controllers, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and choose corrective action.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams and manufacturer specs.
• Provide guidance and training to lower-level staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties at an advanced level with independence.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure water chemistry guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex failures in pumps, motors, filtration, controllers, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance per manuals.
• Identify root causes and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Read technical manuals, diagrams and equipment specs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff.
• Support equipment commissioning, seasonal openings, and major maintenance projects.
• Ensure OSHA/NFPA safety code compliance.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and Mobaro work orders.

Position SummaryLegends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an immediate opening for aMaintenance Technician II for the four water parks. The Maintenance Technician II is an advanced skilledposition responsible for inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of aquaticand facility systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Perform Maintenance Technician I duties at an advanced level of technical competency and independence.• Conduct assigned daily safety inspections and ensure water chemistry is within CDC and local healthdepartment guidelines.• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex or recurring failures involving pumps, motors, filtration, chemicalcontrollers, plumbing, hydraulics, drainage, electrical components, and related facility systems.• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturers' manuals andguidelines.• Identify root causes of recurring equipment problems and recommend repair, replacement, or contractorsupport.• Read and interpret manufacturer manuals, technical documentation, diagrams, and equipment specifications.• Perform assigned electrical troubleshooting and repair within demonstrated training and authorization.• Assist with development and improvement of preventive maintenance procedures, SOPs, and inspectionpractices.• Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to Maintenance Technician I and Grounds & Facilitiesstaff as assigned.• Support equipment commissioning, seasonal opening, closing, winterization, and major maintenanceprojects.• Support vendor and contractor work and communicate technical conditions to the Foreman or MaintenanceOperations Manager.• Identify required parts, tools, materials, and equipment and communicate inventory needs.• Maintain detailed maintenance records and Mobaro work orders, including recurring deficiencies and repairhistory.• Identify deteriorating equipment and infrastructure and report potential repair, replacement, or capital needs.• Perform specialized grounds or facility work requiring additional technical training or authorization asassigned.• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable safety codes.• Recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations.• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.• Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.• Must have ability to read measurements and math skills to calculate appropriate chemical dosing.• Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification required.• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in pumps, hydraulics, drainage, pool filtration, pool chemicalcontrollers, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related facility systems.• Ability to independently diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate corrective action orescalation.• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, specifications, and manufacturer documentation.• Ability to provide technical guidance and training to less experienced employees.• Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, vendors, patrons, and othersencountered in the course of employment.• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.• Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States and have reliable transportationand ability to travel between assigned park locations.• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Minimum Education & ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED and progressive related maintenance experience or training, or equivalentcombination of education and experience.Computer SkillsOperate a personal computer using Windows, Microsoft Office & Mobaro as required.Physical DemandsPhysical requirements include the ability to communicate verbally, walk, climb, kneel, lift, carry, stoop, andoperate equipment.
