Job summary

Legends Global operates water parks in El Paso and is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe operation and routine maintenance of park equipment. You will monitor water quality, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot pump, filtration, plumbing and carpentry systems across facilities.

The role requires 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED, ability to read measurements, and the potential to obtain CPO/AFO certification.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Must read measurements and have math skills to calculate chemical dosing.
Must obtain CPO or AFO certification within a timeframe set by management.
Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pool filtration, plumbing, carpentry and related facility systems.
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety standards on all water park attractions.
Ensure water chemistry meets CDC and local health guidelines.
Conduct daily safety inspections of attractions and equipment.
Operate and maintain attractions, filtration, pumps and chemical control systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and inspections per manuals.
Maintain maintenance and chemical logs and Mobaro work orders.
Assist with seasonal opening, closing and winterization.
Respond to emergencies and escalate as needed.
