Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to read measurements and perform math for chemical dosing.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) within timeframe.
• Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, filtration, plumbing, carpentry, and related facility systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Able to recognize when supervision or advanced technical support is needed.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients, employees, vendors, and others.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards on all water park attractions.
• Ensure water chemistry aligns with CDC and local health guidelines.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of attractions and equipment.
• Operate and maintain water park systems, including pumps and chemical controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, filtration, plumbing, and related systems.
• Assist senior maintenance staff with advanced repairs and projects.
• Support seasonal openings, closings, and winterization.
