Job summary

Simpson is seeking an Entry level Maintenance Technician II to service and maintain facilities at Jenners Pond, West Grove, PA. The role includes inspecting grounds, performing repairs, and addressing resident maintenance requests during day shifts.

You will implement preventive maintenance, keep records, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure safety and reliability for residents. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as Maintenance Technician II or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of community facilities and grounds.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
• Address resident requests for maintenance promptly and efficiently.
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure longevity of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
• Coordinate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize and execute tasks.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure living environment for residents.
