Job summary

Simpson Midtown, Philadelphia, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our senior living community. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, proficiency with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office. On-site work with on-call rotation required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in healthcare or senior living environments preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Respond to maintenance work orders and emergencies in resident areas.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities using Microsoft Office tools.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
