Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Louisville, Kentucky. This onsite role maintains and repairs industrial machinery for a 24/7 food manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Candidates should have strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills and a background in food manufacturing. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, welding, and CMMS logging.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance highly desired.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing a plus.
• Extensive experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; troubleshooting and component replacement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain industrial machinery 24/7 in a food manufacturing facility.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install repaired parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubricate moving parts.
• Install/repair electrical wiring and components; maintain hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Weld using MIG/TIG/Oxy-Acetylene as needed.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and IFS standards to ensure food safety.
• Log work hours in CMMS and communicate with supervisors.
