Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Master Mechanic II to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery in a 24/7 production environment. The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and collaboration with Quality and Production teams.

Qualified candidates bring strong electrical, mechanical, welding, and preventive maintenance skills, with experience in food manufacturing and proficiency with CMMS and basic computer use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 3+ years maintenance in food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial machinery to keep lines running 24/7.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubricate moving parts, inspect equipment.
• Install and repair electrical components and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Read and follow safety procedures, GMPs, and SOPs.
• Operate welding equipment as needed and manage minor repairs.
• Document work hours in CMMS system.
