Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC in Springfield, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Colonial Estates to perform skilled maintenance in electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry. The role requires on-site work, on-call support, and timely turnover for vacated units.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform turnover-related clean out and demo for make ready.
• Carpentry repairs including wallboard, cabinets, doors, and tile.
• Paint, patch drywall, and replace cover plates; clean common areas.
• Monitor inventory and deliver supplies.
• Respond to after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
