Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Palmer Green in Palmer, MA. The role involves independent skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related trades, with a 1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Supervisor, duties include coordinating repairs, budgeting input, and potential on-call responsibilities. Requires 6+ years of experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform clean out and demo work for turnover to make ready status.
• Carry out general carpentry duties including wallboard repair, cabinetry, tile, doors and finishes.
• Coordinate exterior siding repairs and emergency roof repairs.
• Perform minor HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee drywall, painting and cleaning of common areas; assist as needed.
• Manage maintenance inventory, orders, and vendor contracts.
