Job summary

Eaton Group in El Paso, TX is seeking a Facilities Technician for 2nd shift to maintain production equipment and facility systems. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and supporting plant operations.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in manufacturing, 1+ year electrical experience (24V-480V), and a two-year technical degree or PLC/HMI experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing; 1+ year electrical field experience (24V–480V).
• 1+ year hydraulics/pneumatics systems experience (pumps, valves, sensors, motors).
• Proficient with Windows-based software.
• Must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX facility and be legally eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret electrical/hydraulic diagrams and PLCs; read PLC programming/ladder logic.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation; coordinate with external contractors.
• Support plant operations and continuous improvement activities (5S, TPM, Setup Reduction).
• Ensure safety compliance per OSHA and internal policies.
