Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Reserves at Arboretum in Newport News, VA. The role involves performing comprehensive maintenance tasks across the apartment community and supporting the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.
• Punctual, dependable and a self-starter.
• Experience in apartment maintenance is a plus.
• Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks as required by community needs.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in the community preservation and preventive maintenance program.
