Zusammenfassung

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech I in Indiana to join our team. You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, read blueprints and schematics, and use a CMMS to track work.

Overtime may be required, and on-the-job training is provided. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a 2-year technical degree preferred, is at least 18, and holds a valid driver's license.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Minimum 6 months of repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Military experience considered.
• Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Utilize hand/power tools, measurement tools, and testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, and engineering specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using precision instruments.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment testing and adjust as needed.
• Conduct daily/weekly safety checks on boilers and perform repairs.
• Record meter readings and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform location/system safety checks and address concerns.
• Inspect, lubricate, and replace parts per procedures.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System; perform other duties as assigned.
