UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team in Indiana. You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, following blueprints and specs while ensuring safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand/power tools, and basic computer skills. On-the-job training is provided; overtime may be required to support production and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Able to operate hand/power tools and testing devices safely.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Follow blueprints and engineering specifications; document results.
• Record meter readings and adjust processes as needed; maintain logs.
• Perform routine safety and boiler/wastewater checks and repairs as required.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System to track work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
