UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components.

The role includes a standard Monday - Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime and on-the-job training. Responsibilities include using tools, reading blueprints, following manuals, and conducting safety checks on boilers and systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Two-year technical degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of maintenance repair experience in an industrial setting.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals in English.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Utilize hand/power tools and electronic testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using precision measuring tools.
• Record and analyze utility readings; adjust chemicals as needed.
• Perform daily/weekly safety checks on boilers and maintain equipment.
• Inspect and lubricate moving parts and belts per procedures.
• Operate CMMS for work orders and maintenance logs.
