Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a skilled laborer to perform manual duties related to sewer repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance on facilities, watercourses, and equipment. Under supervision, you will operate pumps, inspect manholes, and assist in repairs, with safety training required.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience. You will work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures, and may need a CDL license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• First aid and CPR certification within six months of appointment.
• Valid Wisconsin CDL driver’s license – class A, B, C. D with tanker endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in safety trainings.
• Set up, operate, and perform minor repairs on pumps, compressors and other equipment.
• Inspect and repair manholes, sewers, tanks, wells and related facilities.
• Clean pump stations, plants and related infrastructure.
• Inspect interceptors and pump stations; remove debris and report malfunctions.
• Perform general maintenance of facilities, buildings and grounds.
• Set up rooms for functions and assist in field operations as needed.
